The U.S. Embassy in Abuja is seeking to employ suitable and qualified candidates for the Program Assistant (CO-AG) positions in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention office.

BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
The incumbent will be a program management assistant, monitoring grant recipients and their implementation of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). As a cooperative agreement assistant, the incumbent will provide technical assistance to support and promote effective and coordinated implementation; monitoring and overall management of CDC funded PEPFAR activities carried out by implementing partners in Nigeria. This position serves as a liaison between CDC/Nigeria and the Global AIDS Extramural Team in Atlanta and supports the financial management of awards funded from CDC/Atlanta and it cooperative partners, particularly focusing on reporting requirements, budget implementation and execution issues and overall administrative management issues associated with CDC cooperative agreements. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
