OPTIONS CONSULTANCY SERVICES, UK, is one of the consortium partners implementing the Enhancing the national Response to HIV/AIDS Programme (ENR) in Nigeria, which aims to contribute to Nigeria’s achievement of MDG 6 by reducing the spread of HIV and mitigating the impact of AIDS (for more information see: http://www.options.co.uk/our-programmes/governance-health-systems-strengthening-nigeria).

JOB TITLE: SYSTEMS STRENGTHENING TECHNICAL ADVISORS (SSTAs) LOCATION: NASSARAWA, LAGOS AND OGUN STATES JOB TYPE: FIXED TERM (2.5 Years)

ROLE: The SSTA will join Options under the Enhancing Nigeria’s Response (ENR) to HIV/AIDs Programme, The SSTA will be responsible for supporting the State Agency for the Control HIV/AIDS (SACA) in his/her State by building the capacity and effective planning, budgeting and improve accountability for an effective, multi-sectoral and evidence-based HIV/AIDS response.

QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE: First degree in accounting or business management, with excellent understanding of financial management or management accounting systems, with a Masters degree in any relevant field; Good experience of working in budgeting and planning functions, like to be current working at advanced management level in either reputable NGO, government or the private sector; Experience in institutional development, monitoring and training for different cadres of staff and partners; Understanding of key issues for STI/HIV programming; Excellent communication, writing, planning and organizational skills, with proven ability to work as part of a team as well as being a self started.
