Due to current expansion and the need to consolidate our leadership position, it has become necessary to seek for a qualified professional to join our team: POSITION: PURCHASING MANAGER (REF: PM/2011) THE JOB: Reporting to the MD/CEO, the person will be responsible for managing all local Purchasing activities of the company. These will include processing local purchase requisitions, vendor selection, price and contract negations, ensuring non stock out or regularly required items, market research, resolving vendor problems, maintaining and monitoring departmental purchase data, preparation of budget estimates etc. QUALIFICATION: Minimum of B.SC/HND in purchasing/supply or related discipline EXPERIENCE: 10 years relevant experience in the purchasing/supply function preferably in a manufacturing sector.
